AFBC President Eyassu Wossen Berhanu Travels to Dubai for IBA Board Meeting

Addis Ababa, May 3, 2025 — Eyassu Wossen Berhanu, President of the African Boxing Confederation (AFBC) and a Board Member of the International Boxing Association (IBA), is traveling to Dubai to attend the upcoming IBA Board of Directors meeting scheduled for May 5, 2025.

The meeting will address key issues related to the governance and future direction of international boxing. President Eyassu will represent the African continent and provide updates on recent AFBC activities, including preparations for the upcoming Youth African Boxing Championships in Guinea and other continental programs.

AFBC remains committed to working closely with IBA and its stakeholders to ensure the continued growth and integrity of the sport across Africa and globally.
