Oromia U17 Boxing Championship Successfully Concludes in Batu (Zeway), Ethiopia

The Oromiya Under-17 Boxing Championship concluded successfully today after seven thrilling days of competition in Batu (Zeway) Town, Ethiopia. The event showcased the immense talent and passion of 52 young boxers who participated in the championship.

In the men’s category, 36 athletes competed in 28 action-packed bouts, while the women’s division saw 16 boxers take part in 9 exciting matches. Across both categories, a total of 37 bouts were held, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for boxing among the youth in Oromiya.
