AFBC Extends Deadline for Bids to Host 2025 African Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships

The African Boxing Confederation (AFBC) has announced an extension for the submission of bids to host the highly anticipated 2025 African Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships, scheduled for August 2025.

In response to multiple requests from national federations for additional time, AFBC has adjusted the deadlines to ensure all interested hosts have ample opportunity to finalize their submissions.

The revised deadlines are as follows:

1.⁠ ⁠Letter of Intent: New deadline – March 20, 2025
2.⁠ ⁠Complete Bidding Documents: New deadline – April 5, 2025
This extension aims to facilitate a more comprehensive and competitive bidding process, allowing federations to prepare and submit detailed proposals for hosting the championship.

AFBC encourages all interested national federations to take advantage of this extension and submit their bids within the new timeframe. The organization remains committed to ensuring a fair and transparent selection process that will lead to the successful hosting of Africa’s premier boxing event.
