AFBC to Host R&J and Coaching Courses Alongside the 2025 African Youth Championship

The African Boxing Confederation (AFBC), in collaboration with the International Boxing Association (IBA), is pleased to announce the organization of 1-star and 2-star Referees & Judges (R&J) courses, as well as a coaching course, which will take place alongside the 2025 African Youth Boxing Championship in Guinea, Conakry, from April 16 - 26, 2025.

The African Youth Boxing Championship is one of the most prestigious events on the continental boxing calendar, bringing together the best young talents from across Africa. This competition serves as a crucial platform for identifying and nurturing the next generation of elite boxers, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their skills on an international stage.

In alignment with AFBC’s commitment to the development of boxing officiating and coaching standards, these courses will provide a valuable opportunity for referees, judges, and coaches to enhance their knowledge, gain international certification, and contribute to the advancement of boxing in their respective countries.

AFBC urges all National Federations to take advantage of this opportunity and begin preparations for their participants as early as possible.
