Dubai Discussion Update – Statement from AFBC Media & Communication Department

To address the challenges faced by AFBC and restore unity and integrity, the AFBC Board of Directors held a meeting in Addis Ababa and agreed to discuss the issues in Dubai. Based on this decision, AFBC President Eyassu Wossen and Vice President Siyabulela were elected as representatives for the Dubai discussions.

Despite two days of extensive efforts by AFBC representatives to resolve the matter through dialogue, the other party was not prepared to reach a resolution. Consequently, the AFBC Board of Directors will hold an emergency meeting to make final decisions on this issue.

Until an official statement is issued by the Board, we urge the boxing community to remain patient and to rely only on official information from the AFBC Media & Communication Department.
