
Ethiopian-American Former Olympic Boxer and Coach SEB Zewdie "Suffer for Good" Donates Boxing Equipment to Ethiopian Boxing Clubs
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – In a significant boost to the Ethiopian boxing community, Ethiopian-American former Olympic boxer and renowned coach, known by his mantra "Suffer for Good," has donated much-needed boxing equipment to nine boxing clubs across Ethiopia. The donation, which includes boxing gloves, headgear, punch mitts, focus pads, hand wraps, and double-end bags, aims to enhance training and development for local athletes.
The gesture is part of a broader effort by the coach, who now runs SEB Boxing Club in the United States, to support the growth of boxing in Ethiopia and nurture future champions. His visit has been met with enthusiasm and appreciation, as many local clubs face challenges in accessing quality training materials.
