Only One Week to Go Until the African Youth Championship in Conakry, Guinea

The countdown is on! With just one week remaining, excitement is building ahead of the African Youth Boxing Championship, set to take place from May 16–26, 2026 in Conakry, Guinea.

This prestigious event will bring together the continent’s most promising young boxing talents for an unforgettable display of skill, determination, and sportsmanship. Alongside the competition, the event will also offer valuable educational opportunities for the African boxing community.

Three official IBA certification courses will be conducted during the championship:

1. Referee & Judge (R&J) Course

2. Coaching Course

3. International Technical Official (ITO) Course

These courses aim to enhance the knowledge, skills, and standards of African boxing professionals, contributing to the continued growth of the sport across the continent.
