With the guidance of renowned IBA instructor Gabriele Martelli, the course has brought together aspiring and seasoned coaches from various Zone 2 countries. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum tailored to equip participants with advanced technical knowledge, modern training methodologies, and the latest best practices in boxing development.

Key areas of focus include athlete performance analysis, injury prevention, mental conditioning, and the integration of technology into coaching. These modules aim to build a strong foundation for coaches to elevate the skills of their athletes and enhance their competitive edge at regional and international levels.

The collaboration underscores the shared commitment of AFBC and its partners to create opportunities for capacity building and foster a culture of excellence in African boxing. AFBC President Eyassu Wossen emphasized the importance of such programs in empowering the continent’s coaches to become global leaders in the sport.

Participants have expressed their enthusiasm about the course, citing its relevance and potential to revolutionize boxing coaching in Zone 2. The online format has also made the program accessible to a wider audience, ensuring that coaches from remote areas can benefit from this initiative.
