Zone 2 Holds Successful 1st Star Coaching Course in Ghana

The 1st Star Coaching Course training for Zone 2, held in Ghana over the past 10 days, is set to conclude today. The training, led by instructor Gabrielle Martello, was made possible through the financial support of the African Boxing Confederation (AFBC) and the support of the International Boxing Association (IBA). A total of 32 coaches from Zone 2 participated in this intensive training, further enhancing their skills and knowledge to develop boxing talent across the region.

In an exciting continuation, from February 3-10, Zone 2 will host the 1st Star Referees & Judges (R&J) training. A group of 24 R&Js from Zone 2 will take part in this essential course, guided by R&J instructor Rajcoomar. The training is supported financially by the AFBC, with the host national federation providing additional backing.

These initiatives are part of AFBC's ongoing commitment to improving the standard of boxing in Africa, equipping coaches and officials with the tools and expertise necessary to advance the sport.
